What We Do:
Mediations
Embracing
the New Age of Alternative Dispute Resolution
Many
courts and law firms have begun recognizing the value of alternative dispute
resolution (ADR) methods like mediation. In many instances, a court will order
the parties in a lawsuit to resolve the issue through mediation in order to
save valuable time and resources. Mediation is also useful in situations where
a lawsuit seems eminent in order to avoid costly litigation. At L. A. &
Associates PR, we provide a private and confidential avenue for solving
conflicts between two or more parties in a structured manner. Mediation is led
by a certified mediator who remains wholly impartial throughout the settlement
process.
A Professionally Trained and Certified Mediator
Michele L. A. Rollins has received and completed professional circuit civil mediation training approved by the Florida Supreme Court. In addition to being a certified mediator, Rollins has earned a Juris Doctorate degree and is a licensed and practicing attorney at law for the state of Florida.
Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Services
Recent
Administration Order 2010-1 referred all residential mortgage foreclosure cases
to the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation (RMFM) program. RMFM allows
borrowers and lenders to come together in mediation to agree upon a solution
that could possibly bypass foreclosure. Foreclosure mediation is executed at no
cost to the borrower. It also allows the borrower to receive valuable
information on foreclosure avoidance options, while giving borrowers the
opportunity to speak with their lenders directly in order to reach a solution.
L. A. & Associates PR
specializes in this particular field of mediation.
L. A. & Associates PR is here for all your civil circuit
